Classic Garden Elegance is always our goal.  With our clients, together we develop designs that create useful and pleasing garden spaces.  Our plans harmonize with our clients’ preferences, follow the spirit of the land, and are ecologically sensitive to nature’s needs.  The palette for our designs includes features that combine with flowers and foliage to create harmonies and contrasts of color, texture, and emphasis.

Owner and Landscape Designer John Gordon has many years of experience and education in the arts.  An earlier career in the production of documentary films gave him opportunities for travel and photography throughout the world. Graphics, design and horticulture courses at local colleges have provided the foundation for further education in the Landscape Architecture Department of the University of Maryland.
